The May Day event in Animal Crossing New Horizons is an annual event that takes place in late April and early May. This year, the campaign will start on April 29 and run until May 7, 2023. During this time, players can participate in the May Day maze and complete it for exciting rewards.


May Day Maze Walkthrough Guide


To complete the May Day maze in Animal Crossing 2023, follow these steps:


Step 1: Take a shovel from the ground and dig out the bushes that are blocking the fruit. Eat the fruit above and dig up the tree above.


Step 2: Grab the two pieces of wood near the center area. Go to the far right area and jump over the water gap. Then, pick up the two pieces of fruit near the rock.


Step 3: Go back to the leftmost area and dig a bush on the way. Jump over the spout again and pick up a cork.


Step 4: Eat one of the fruits you picked up, then use your shovel to break the rock directly above you. Continue up, then right through the water gap to pick up two pieces of cork.


Step 5: Eat another piece of fruit, then dig the tree to the left. Then, go down, through the water gap, and pick up two more pieces of fruit.


Step 6: Take a few steps back and go back to the right side of the maze. Eat a fruit, break the rock directly below, pick up and eat a fruit, then dig out the next tree to the left. Pick up two pieces of hardwood and walk up through the water gap.


Step 7: Eat a fruit, then dig the tree above you from the water gap. Pick up a piece of cork on the left, go through another water opening, pick up a fruit in the upper right corner, and hide two pieces of cork behind two rows of fences.


Step 8: Take a few steps back and go back to the left side of the maze. Going north through the water gap on the left, you can see the DIY workbench. Eat a fruit, break the rocks on you, then pick up two pieces of hardwood.


Step 9: Make a ladder on the DIY workbench using all the crafting materials you picked, including four pieces of wood, softwood, and hardwood. If you lose one or more, you can go back and find them.


Step 10: Go straight through the mouth of the water and use the ladder with the toolbox to climb up the cliff. Pick up the broken ax found on top of the cliff, climb back up using the ladder, and head back up the steps to the top right of the island where there is a row of three vertical water gaps.


Step 11: Cross the middle water gap to the left and use your Worn Ax to cut down the tree to the left. You can dig tree stumps or sit on them to pass. Next, use a ladder to climb up the cliff with fruit, pick up two pieces of fruit, and then follow your steps back to the upper left corner of the maze, where there is a DIY workbench.


Step 12: Walk past the DIY workbench where you destroyed a stone before and eat two fruits. Dig out the two trees blocking the right passage. Next, continue to climb down and use your ladder to climb up the cliff with fruit. Pick up three pieces of fruit and climb back to the right side of the cliff.


Step 13: Go to the right, dig out the bushes that block the way, jump over the water mouth, and walk around the area on the right side of the maze until you reach the bottom of the three water mouths in this area . and jump over three water gaps in a row until you are standing in front of a tree near the Rover. Eat a fruit, dig up a tree, use a ladder to climb the last cliff to meet Rover.
