Dr. Scramble's Revenge is the update that gave Steal An Egg its first proper raid boss. Dr. Scramble now spawns on a timer inside his own lab, and players get a limited window to fight through his mech, its exposed core and finally the doctor himself.

Where to Find Dr. Scramble
Dr. Scramble is not standing around waiting for you. He is gated behind a portal that spawns in the Biome once every 30 minutes of server time. When the timer hits, the portal appears, and once the fight inside is finished, it disappears again.
- Because the timer runs on server time and not your personal playtime, you realistically get two attempts per hour if you catch every window.
- Keep an eye on Biomes a couple of minutes before the 30-minute mark. Missing the portal means waiting out the full timer again.
The Boss Fight
This is a three-phase encounter, and each phase plays completely differently. Bring any bat in your inventory, since a stronger weapon pushes more damage per swing and directly speeds up every phase below.

Phase 1: Destroy the Mech
This is the longest phase, and the one that trips up most new players because several attacks run at once. Knowing what each one does is most of the battle here.
- Mech Charge: The mech rushes forward at high speed and knocks you back on contact. A marked zone appears in front of it before the charge, so simply step out of that lane.
- Croco: A mechanical crocodile drops onto the field and hunts down random players. It cannot be damaged, so keep moving until it despawns.
- Scramble Drones: Small drones chase individual players and chip away at health. Unlike the crocodile, drones can be destroyed with your bat.
- Lasers and Ground Smash: Burst attacks that need a windup first. When the mech starts charging one of these, back off or duck behind the crates scattered around the arena.
After the mech cycles through its attacks, it overheats and locks up for a few seconds. That freeze is the real damage window in this phase, so everyone should pile on hits the moment it happens. A full server clears this window faster simply because more players are swinging at once.
Phase 2: Break the Core
Once the mech goes down, it explodes and exposes its core, and this phase runs on a completely different rhythm.
Run for a blue tower
Head toward one of the small blue towers placed around the lab.
Wait for the core to get stuck
When the core closes in near a tower, it gets stuck for a few seconds. That is the only time it takes damage.
Deplete its bar three times
You need to fully empty the core's health bar on three separate occasions before it goes down for good.
Phase 3: Finish Dr. Scramble
With the mech and core both gone, Dr. Scramble bails out and starts running around the lab on foot. This stretch is straightforward compared to the first two phases: chase him down and land three clean hits. He tries to keep distance, so stay close and do not let him build too much of a gap between hits. Landing the third hit ends the fight and triggers rewards.

Samples and Boss Mastery Explained

Boss Mastery is the unlock currency for Lab Eggs, the experiment and lab-themed eggs tied to Dr. Scramble's storyline.
