Play With Other Players

Playing with other players can make survival easier, especially during the early game. A team can share the pressure of hunting and dealing with dangerous ducks, while a stronger early economy allows you to reach useful upgrades faster.

However, there is an important multiplayer detail: your dog only automatically collects ducks that you personally knocked down. It will not automatically collect ducks defeated by other players. You can manually pick up ducks that other players knocked down.

Because of this, teamwork can improve your survival, but you still need to pay attention to your own kills and collection.

Upgrade Your Dog Early

Your dog is one of the most useful companions for longer runs because it can reduce the amount of time you spend collecting ducks.

If possible, upgrades its automatic duck collection as soon as you can. This allows you to focus mainly on hunting and selling instead of constantly stopping to pick up ducks.

Dog movement speed and the number of ducks it can handle are also useful upgrades. A faster and more capable dog makes the hunting loop smoother, especially when you are defeating ducks quickly.

Pay attention to ducks marked with a red frame. These ducks can actively attack you and may approach from different directions.

Do Not Rely on Dodging Against Boss Ducks

A Boss Duck appears at the end of each day, so you should be prepared for the encounter before the day ends.

Boss Duck attacks cannot simply be avoided by dodging. Instead, watch the direction the Boss Duck is approaching from and try to create as much distance as practical while continuing to shoot. Avoid standing directly in its path.

Taking a Few Hits Is Not Always Fatal

Your health bar slowly recovers, so being hit once or twice by a Mad Duck does not necessarily mean the run is over.
