If you are looking for an Iron Soul Dungeon Forge recipe or trying to decide on the best weapon in Iron Soul Dungeon, start with the weapon category first. This guide is specifically for Iron Soul: Dungeon on Roblox.
Light Weapon — 3 Ore
Staff — 10 Ore
Heavy Weapon — 16 Ore
These are the commonly documented Forge requirements for each weapon category. They do not mean that a specific named weapon is guaranteed from 3, 10 or 16 Ore.
Iron Soul Dungeon Forge Recipes
The Forge is one of the main progression systems in Iron Soul: Dungeon. You collect Ore from gameplay, choose the equipment type you want to make and use the Forge to create stronger gear.
For weapons, the three basic Forge categories have different material requirements.
Listed Chance: 100%
Best Use: Low-cost forging and early weapon testing.
Listed Chance: 80%
Best Use: Ranged and skill-focused combat.
Listed Chance: 100%
Best Use: Slower, heavier melee attacks.
How Does the Iron Soul Dungeon Forge Work?
When you open the Forge, your Ore choice affects the crafting pool and the potential quality of the result.
A simple Forge process is:
- Choose the weapon type you want.
- Add enough Ore for that category.
- Check the multiplier and possible Forge result.
- Start forging.
- Complete the hammer timing section as accurately as possible.
Current Forge references report that multiple Ore types can be mixed in one craft, but mixing different materials can change the crafting pool and make the result less predictable.
Can You Forge Mythic Weapons?
Current community Forge documentation reports that at least half of the inserted Ore needs to be Mythic rarity for the resulting equipment to qualify for Mythic quality.
Forge timing still matters, but good timing does not turn low-rarity materials into Mythic materials. Start with the correct Ore quality first.
What Is the Best Weapon in Iron Soul Dungeon?
There is no developer-published ranking proving that one weapon is the best choice for every Iron Soul Dungeon build.
Instead, the better question is: which weapon type fits your current build and resources?
Light Weapon – Best for Low-Cost Forging
Light Weapons are the cheapest of the three basic weapon categories at only 3 Ore.
That makes them a practical starting point if you are new to the Forge or want to test different weapons without spending a large amount of valuable Ore.
Staff – Best for Range and Skills
Staffs cost 10 Ore at the documented Forge amount. They are better suited to players who prefer attacking from range and relying more heavily on skills rather than staying in close melee range.
Heavy Weapon – Best for Heavy Melee
Heavy Weapons require 16 Ore, making them the most expensive of the three basic weapon Forge categories.
They make more sense for players who prefer slower, committed melee attacks and already have enough Ore to support the higher crafting cost.
Low on Ore → Light Weapon
Prefer range and skills → Staff
Prefer heavier melee attacks → Heavy Weapon
What Changed for Weapons in Season 3?
Season III: Magic Royal added more weapon-related progression to Iron Soul: Dungeon, including new Ore and Scroll content connected with the Endless Tower.
Season 3 also introduced notable weapon content such as Dual Pistols and the legendary Royal Flush.
However, this does not mean every Season 3 weapon uses the normal 3-Ore, 10-Ore or 16-Ore Forge system. Some weapons were connected to seasonal stores, events or other reward systems.
