How to Roll Charms
The interface for rolling Charms lives inside the Flock menu.
- Open the Flock screen.
- Select the specific Chicken you want to work on.
- On the left-hand side of the Chicken's detail panel, tap the "+" button.
- At the bottom of that submenu, tap ROLL CHARMS.
Each roll consumes 20 Charm Dust. With a free daily claim of 100 Charm Dust from the Shop, a completely free-to-play player can expect five rolls per day from that source alone, before factoring in any Robux purchases or code rewards.
The Eight Charm Slots
Every Chicken has room for eight Battle Charms simultaneously, labeled slots I through VIII. Critically, you don't have access to all eight from the moment a Chicken hatches. What Promotion Does
Promoting a Chicken accomplishes two things simultaneously. It raises the Chicken's base stats, and it unlocks additional Battle Charm slots. Each successful promotion earns the Chicken one star, and the system caps out at 10 stars per Chicken.
How to Promote a Chicken
- Open the Flock menu.
- Select the Chicken you want to promote.
- Tap the Promote button to open the Promotion menu.
- Choose the number of duplicate Chickens you're willing to spend on this promotion.
- Confirm by tapping the Promote button at the bottom of the menu.
The key resource cost here is duplicates. Players now have to decide, on a case-by-case basis, whether a given duplicate is more valuable spent on Promotion or spent on Fusion. There's no universally correct answer here — it depends heavily on whether the duplicate belongs to a Chicken you've already decided is your long-term main, or one you're still deciding whether to keep.
