GaG 2 Pet Eggs Overview

Pet Eggs are significantly rarer in Grow a Garden 2 than in the previous game. Unlike the original Grow a Garden, there are no pet shops or egg shops; players cannot purchase Pet Eggs directly within the game. Currently, Pet Eggs can only be obtained through guild competitions as part of the guild rewards. Once you acquire a Pet Egg, you can bring it to your garden, equip it, and place it on the ground. When the egg begins to shake, it is ready to hatch—simply click on it to open it, and the pet inside will automatically be added to your inventory, ready for immediate use.

Primary Function of Pet Eggs

The core function of Pet Eggs is to provide a way to obtain rare and high-value pets. In particular, Super and Mythic pets—which rarely spawn on the map—have a chance of hatching from these eggs. Additionally, Pet Eggs are the only way to obtain Big and Mega pet variants.

Grow a Garden 2 High-Value Pets

Among the pets that hatch from Pet Eggs, the following three are undoubtedly the most valuable:

  • Raccoon — A Super rarity pet; it has the lowest drop rate from a Common Egg (only 0.2%). The Raccoon possesses a unique ability: it sneaks out at night to steal fruit from other players' gardens while increasing your own theft limit by 25. For players looking to gain a competitive edge, the Raccoon is an invaluable asset. It has an in-game selling price of 15 million Sheckles.
  • Unicorn — A Mythic rarity pet; it has a drop rate of only 0.3% from Common Eggs, but this increases to 30% with Epic Eggs. The Unicorn wanders through your garden and doubles the chance of your crops mutating into Rainbow crops. Rainbow crops are among the most valuable in the game, making the Unicorn essential for players aiming to maximize their profits. Its map price is 12 million Sheckles.
  • Golden Dragonfly—a Mythic rarity pet—has a drop rate of only 0.3% from Common Eggs. Its ability doubles the chance of mutating your plants and fruits into Gold variants. Since golden crops are extremely valuable, the Golden Dragonfly is one of the ultimate goals for players focused on farming. Its map price reaches as high as 9 million Sheckles.
