Rocket League's Frosty Fest event has been live, let's check out new Challenges, Rewards, and More
Rocket League's big event, Frosty Fest, has begun and will last January. Time-limited game modes, event challengers, and cool rewards are all part of the campaign.
Complete the Frostfest Event Challenges to earn a variety of Rocket League items , including paint, wheels, titles, player banners, and more. In addition to challenge prizes, you can also earn up to five Gold Gifts, which include items from previous Rocket League series. Plus, just log in to the game during the event and you'll be able to get the "No Skier Banner" from the in-game store... well, it's free.
If you want to reward yourself during the holidays and want a super festive vehicle, the new Frosty Pack can be purchased in the store for 1,100 points. You'll get the following in return for your hard-earned cash:
• Teclis (crimson camouflage)
• Frostbite Boost (forest green paint)
• Wonderment Wheels (deep red paint)
• Subzero target explosion (forest green paint)
This year's event includes 10 new festive cosmetics and tons of bonus XP, all just for you. Here's what you'll need to do to complete all of the Frostfest challenges, and what gifts you'll get once you're done.
Rocket League Frostfest Challenge
For Frosty Fest 2021, there are a total of 12 challenges, 10 of which include brand-new items including player titles, battle-car decals, and more. During Frosty Fest, which runs until January 3, two additional challenges can be performed many times. The following are the 10 challenges and their rewards:
• Earn 25,000 XP - Reindeer Game decals
• Get 25 clears in online matches - Cold Shoulders player banner
• Get 15 assists or clears in online matches - Abominable Throwman title
• Score at least 250 points during five different online matches - Iced Out border
• Get 10 saves or epic saves in online matches - Nutcracker decal (Dominus)
• Play five online matches - Flannel paint finish
• Win five online matches - Naughty List decal (Octane)
• Score 5,000 total points in online matches - Drummer Hat topper (white)
• Get 10 goals, assists, or saves in 10 Snow Day Extra Modes - Drummer Hat topper (red)
• Hit the ball 50 times in online matches - Ring-A-Ling wheels
• Play 20 online matches - Golden Gift (random rare item; repeatable up to five times during Frost Fest)
• Win 10 online matches - 20,000 XP (repeatable for the duration of Frosty Fest)
The frosty festivities extend to other aspects of the game as well. Winter Breakaway and Spike Rush are two limited-time modes, with the former available until Christmas Eve and the latter available until the end of Frosty Fest. You can visit Beckwith Park to see A chillier version of the stadium created particularly for the season or purchase the Frosty Pack (1,100 credits) from the Item Shop, which includes four items including:
• Tygris battle-car (Crimson)
• Frostbite rocket boost (Forest Green)
