But as of September 10, 2026, players are still reporting a practical stop at Level 2995 MAX after completing the reliably visible Secret progression. If your game already says 2995 MAX, do not keep farming normal EXP—the missing problem is your level cap, not your EXP bar.

I'm Level 2800 MAX – How Do I Keep Leveling?
Level 2800 is the normal grinding cap. Update 30's extra progression comes from the Secret Levels system. Each completed Island Secret raises your personal cap, so going beyond 2800 is not simply a matter of finding another normal quest.
Island Secrets are tied to the reworked First Sea.
Your first completed Secret also unlocks the World Map used to track Secret progress.
Return to the correct Quest NPC when required. Do not assume the Star counted until the reward/progress updates.
Use the map to target incomplete islands instead of repeating all puzzles.
How Secret Levels Actually Change Your Cap
The key distinction is current level vs. personal level cap. Secret Levels raise the cap itself. That is why a player below an already-unlocked cap can still gain EXP, while a player whose UI says MAX cannot fix the problem with EXP alone.

This is why 2995 appears so often: 39 successful Secret rewards at 5 levels each add 195 levels, and 2800 + 195 = 2995.
Do You Need to Wait Until Level 2800 Before Doing Secrets?
No confirmed rule says you must wait until Level 2800. Current Secret Level documentation says each Island Secret grants 5 Secret Levels and raises your cap by 5.
Some early guides recommend saving every Secret until 2800, but that should not be presented as an official requirement. The important mechanic is the cap increase itself.
I'm Level 2995 MAX – Where Are the Last 5 Levels?
If the UI says Level 2995 MAX, your issue is different from simply being Level 2995 with room left on your cap. A true MAX label means ordinary EXP cannot take you higher.
The intended system is documented as 40 Island Secrets. However, as of September 10, Pro Game Guides still says the 40th Island Secret appears broken, while recent players report having all reliably visible island Stars and still stopping at 2995 MAX.
Is the Secrets Master Hiding the 40th Secret?
Players have a reason to keep testing the Secrets Master. Update 30 material teases that the NPC has a secret of his own, and some 2995 players report a new “Tell me some Stories” dialogue after finishing their visible Stars.
That is not yet a verified Level 3000 solution. Community theories involve Middle Town, other islands and awakened bosses, but there is still no reliably reproducible sequence that awards the missing five Secret Levels.
Why Did My Secret Give Only 2 or 4 Levels?
Early Update 30 players reported some Secret rewards not applying the expected 5 levels correctly. The important question is whether your cap increased.
Case 1: Your cap is higher than your current level
If your current level is below a cap you already unlocked, ordinary EXP can still fill that difference.
