How to Get More Luck in Slime RNG — Rebirth Guide

How to Get More Luck in Slime RNG — Rebirth Guide

Rebirth is one of the most important progression systems in Slime RNG. It helps players unlock stronger bonuses and progress much faster in the late game. This guide explains how Rebirth works, why it matters, and every current Rebirth level available.

What is Rebirth?

In Slime RNG, players acquire various slimes by rolling, build slime teams, defeat enemies to earn coins, and upgrade their strength. Rebirth is the most crucial advancement mechanism in the entire game, built upon this core cycle.

The core logic of Rebirth is very simple: exchange a portion of your current progress for a permanent, powerful boost. Specifically, when you perform a Rebirth, your current coins and zones are completely reset to zero, and you start from scratch. Sounds scary? Don't worry, you'll receive a substantial reward. After losing zone progress and coins, you gain a permanent Luck Multiplier, the most crucial boost in Slime RNG, determining whether you can roll rare slimes and obtain more powerful drops.

Functions

Permanent Luck Multiplier

Slime RNG is a game built around luck. Luck directly affects your probability of rolling powerful slimes, which are key to increasing combat power and acquiring more coins. Ignoring the Rebirth system will keep your luck at a low level, resulting in weaker slimes and a widening gap between you and other Rebirth players.

The luck multiplier from Rebirth is permanent and stackable; it won't be lost for any reason. This means that after each Rebirth, your base luck is permanently increased, benefiting every subsequent roll.

A Virtuous Cycle of Increasing Strength

While your coins and area progress are reset after Rebirth, the higher luck multiplier means you can roll powerful slimes faster, clearing areas faster and earning coins more quickly. Each Rebirth makes the next round easier and more efficient, creating a positive cycle of "the better you roll, the stronger slimes you get".

Rebirth doesn't mean losing everything.

It's important to emphasize that rebirth doesn't reset all Slimes, upgrades, items (like boost), or unused Goops. In other words, you're just temporarily back to level one, but you still have a powerful slime party, all unlocked upgrades, and a higher permanent luck multiplier—you can start over much faster than you imagine.

How to Rebirth

Before rebirth, players first need to unlock a special resource—Goop. Goop is the currency required for rebirth, and you need to unlock it level by level in the game's upgrade tree, following this path:

Backpack → Auto Roll → 2 Enemies → 3 Enemies → Goop

Unlocking a Goop node costs 10,000,000 Coins. After unlocking, Goop will drop with each enemy defeated, and the drop rate can be upgraded. Higher-level zones have a greater chance of dropping Goop, and higher luck makes it easier to obtain Goop. Once you have accumulated enough Goop, you can rebirth:

  1. Click the Rebirth button in the menu bar on the right side of the screen to open the rebirth interface.
  2. Check the Goop requirements on the left to confirm that your current Goop amount meets the requirements for the current rebirth level.
  3. After confirming everything is correct, click the green "REBIRTH" button to complete the rebirth.

After completing the rebirth, your zone progress will return to Zone 1, and your coins will be reset to zero. However, you gain a permanent luck multiplier and retain all slimes, upgrades, and items. The permanent luck bonus also increases with each Rebirth, currently allowing 25 Rebirths in the game. The specific multipliers are as follows:

Strategies and Suggestions

Multiple Rebirths at Once are Better than One at a Time

It's recommended to accumulate enough Goops and rebirth multiple times in one go, rather than rebirthing one at a time. In the early stages, it's advisable to accumulate enough Goops for 3-4 rebirths before performing a single rebirth. In the mid-to-late game, this can be adjusted to 2-3 consecutive rebirths.

The reason is that if you only want to rebirth once, slowly progressing through Zone 1 until you have enough Goops again is extremely inefficient. Rebirthing multiple times at once significantly speeds up the rebuilding process.

Clear Your Coins Before Rebirth

Since Rebirth resets your coins, it's recommended to spend all your coins on upgrades before rebirthing—whether it's upgrading your slime inventory capacity, unlocking new upgrade nodes, or purchasing Goop drop rate upgrades. Spending all your coins before rebirthing is a fundamental principle.

Determining the Best Time to Rebirth

A practical criterion is: when your slime lineup and upgrade foundation are strong enough to earn back your coins and advance through unlocked zones within a reasonable time after rebirth, that's the best time to rebirth. If it takes a long time to get back to your original progress after completing a reincarnation, it means your current foundation is not enough. You might as well accumulate some more upgrades and powerful slimes before starting again.

Final Thoughts

Rebirth is the most crucial and overlooked mechanic in Slime RNG—it may seem like you're back to square one, but it actually elevates you to a higher platform for a fresh start. The charm of Rebirth lies in the experience of going faster and becoming stronger with each rebirth.
