Wonderland Introduction
Wonderland is a cooperative survival horror/roguelike experience developed by ScaryPlay (the creators of the well-known horror game The Mimic). The game officially launched in August on PC, mobile, and console platforms.
Play solo or with up to four friends in a brightly colored yet unsettling toy-themed amusement park. There's no fixed storyline; room layouts, monster spawn locations, and puzzles are randomly generated each time. This design makes every game unique and memorable.
Wonderland Core Gameplay Explanation

Winning Objective
Your only goal is to escape alive. Specifically, each round you need to:
- Collect small creatures called Lumins in the amusement park
- Feed them to your guide, Zippy, who will point you to the exit
- Complete puzzles and challenges along the way
- Reach the escape point (usually by Cart) before time runs out
How to Start a Game
You will spawn in the Lobby. There are multiple Roller Coasters in the lobby, each serving as an entrance to the game. Walk up to any roller coaster to queue for matchmaking—you can wait for friends or random players to join, or choose to start solo. After a successful match, you and your guide, Zippy, will land in an arena.
Core Flow
- Explore the area and find Lumins scattered throughout.
- Collect enough Lumins to feed Zippy.
- Zippy reveals the correct exit route.
- Follow the route and complete the level's specific objective.
- Activate the exit mechanism to enter the Cart and escape.
Important Wonderland Mechanics
Lumins and Zippy

Lumins are colorful, spherical creatures scattered throughout the levels. You need to collect enough Lumins to obtain tickets and feed them to Zippy. Zippy is your guide—once fed, it will point you to the correct path, greatly saving time in mazes or complex environments.
Be careful, Zippy is very fast, and you might get lost if you're not careful. But don't worry, you can collect enough tickets again and have Zippy guide you once more. However, game time is limited, so players are advised to seize every opportunity to lead Zippy.
Stamina Management
In the game, you can sprint, but sprinting consumes Stamina, and stamina can only be restored by walking. Here are some golden rules for beginners:
- When being chased by monsters – sprint
- When exploring and solving puzzles – walk
If you carelessly consume stamina, you will have nowhere to escape when you actually encounter monsters.
Shared Lives
The entire team shares 3 lives, instead of each person having an independent life. Losing all 3 lives will send the entire team back to the lobby, regardless of how many levels have been completed. Therefore, reckless behavior punishes the entire team. Rescuing downed teammates, acting collectively, and avoiding unnecessary risks are key to extending the team's survival.
Puzzles
Puzzles are one of the most important gameplay elements in Wonderland. Completing puzzles grants extra time and sometimes Lumins. Many new puzzles will be added later. The currently confirmed puzzles and solutions are as follows:
| Puzzle Type | Solution |
|---|---|
| Piano Puzzle | Listen to the sequence of notes played on the piano, then press the keys in the same order (activate the keys by jumping, not walking over them). Repeat the correct sequence 4 times. |
| Shape Matching | Find the corresponding shape (X-shape, etc.) on the floor and drag it to the square in the center of the room. Shapes are usually distributed near the puzzle room or in the ball pit in the purple area. |
| Teeth Puzzle | Enter the crocodile's mouth and press the teeth—one of them is incorrect; pressing the wrong one will cost you a life. There is no clear hint as to which tooth is correct; it is random. If the crocodile makes a specific sound, be careful to avoid the teeth that are causing the sound. |
| Color Gauges | Use the machine to apply pressure. Pressure gauges are connected to various machines along pipes. By reading the distance between them, you can determine how many rotations to make with the gauge and adjust the color gauge to the correct position. |
| Lever Puzzle | Pull all the levers. The game will provide guidance; remember to complete them before time runs out. |
| Memory Puzzle | The puzzle marker points to a carousel. The first memory game is on the right wall, and the second is on the left wall. You must complete both games to get the reward. |
Monsters

Several hostile monsters will hunt you down and try to kill you. Here are some of the currently confirmed monsters:
- Alice—A porcelain-skinned, doll-like female entity wielding a large pair of scissors. She is a close-range threat; once she catches up, you will be cut down.
- Mole—A monster resembling a star-nosed mole with three theatrical masks. It appears from the ventilation ducts after level 2 and begins chasing you after you activate the scanner in the scanning room. Being caught by Mole results in instant death.
Game Tips for Beginners
Redemption Codes
Open the Shop in the lobby, find the redemption code input box, and enter a currently available code to receive free Gems. Currently, the valid code is RELEASE26, which can be redeemed for 100 Gems. Roblox redemption codes may expire at any time, so it is recommended to redeem them as soon as possible before starting the game.
Solo or Team Choice
Solo: Playable, but you're solely responsible for all missions, encounters, and mistakes.
Team (Recommended for beginners): Smaller, more coordinated teams offer more flexibility. Suggested roles:
- Collector: Search nearby rooms for Lumins and useful supplies;
- Guide: Follow Zippy, observe the map, and report exit routes;
- Support: Carry healing or defensive items to help injured teammates;
- Scout: Spot dangerous corridors to prevent the entire team from getting into danger.
In-game Survival Tips

- Collect Lumins before exploring – accumulating enough tickets early to feed Zippy will prevent wasting precious time in dungeons;
- Stamina management is key – walk normally, sprint only when being chased;
- Don't waste shared lives – every death consumes resources for the entire team;
- Utilize maps and items – purchase maps with Tickets at the Wonder Shop for navigation, and use Stopwatch to track the timing of special events;
- Pay attention to warning signs – Alice appears with a giggling sound, an early warning that can save your life;
- Stay calm while solving puzzles – most puzzle mistakes don't reset progress, so don't rush to run away;
- Adjust audio-visual settings – use headphones to help with sound positioning, but keep the volume low to avoid being too harsh during jump scares. Set graphics settings to ensure visibility in dark areas while maintaining a stable frame rate during chases.
