Psyonix Brings Four Limited Time Modes Back in Rocket League in May
For all Rocket League fans, it is stirring to welcome the coming May because four limited-modes are returned to Rocket League in the entire month, including the popular Heatseeker. A different mode will be available in Rocket League each weekend throughout May. Here is the detail of the event.
Introduction of Four Limited Time Modes
The event starts with Dropshot Rumble on May 1. Dropshot Rumble is a mode that combines the two permanent ranked modes of Dropshot and Rumble. The second mode brought to Rocket League in May is Beach Ball. Beach Ball was released in the last summer's Radical Summer event. It is a 2v2 mode that makes the ball extra light and adds curve to shots. It is live from May 7 to May 11. The third weekend of May comes to Boomer Ball. It is a new mode that Psyonix will reveal more later. The last one is the Heatseeker, which was introduced last month but proved popular among Rocket League fans.

May 1 - May 4: Dropshot Rumble
May 7 - May 11: Beach Ball
May 14 - May 18: Boomer Ball
May 21 - May 26: Heatseeker
Besides, each mode will start at 9 a.m. PDT (4 p.m. UTC) on their respective launch days, and will end at 9 a.m. PDT (4 p.m. UTC) on their end dates. Like other Limited Time Modes, each mode will be Unranked and found in a separate tab in the Play Online menu. They will also grant the same amount of XP as all other Online Playlists, so you'll still Tier Up your Rocket Pass 6 level as usual.
