Watch out, the Rocket League season 5 is coming soon
Season 5 of Rocket League will launch on November 17th, with a new Arena mode, a new competitive season, a rocket pass, and more.
In a news post on the official website, Psyonix teases, "Starbase Arc has been INVADED!" "An evil force has taken control of the classic Arena and turned it into Starbase Arc (Aftermath), a new, dark soccer pitch."
Premium pass holders will immediately acquire the new vehicle Nexus, and players can look forward to a new time-limited mode "with a new twist on Heatseeker" the day after the new content is released. Take a look at the teaser video below:
The Season 5 Rocket Pass reportedly includes "otherworldly Rocket League items like the Spacedirt Paint Finish, Hyperspace Animated Decal that transforms with your car's speed," as well as a new "Goal Explosion that is set to fully take over: Cosmosis." From November 16, the entire list of goodies will be viewable in the pass – and it's a premium variant, of course.
Don't forget that the start of a new season also means the end of the current season. As a result, the competitive season rewards will be awarded shortly after the start of Season 5.
